An infantry sergeant was fatally shot in a parking lot dispute at a Bangsan nightclub. A group of men had backed their car into the soldier’s motorcycle while leaving. An argument erupted and the soldier was shot seven times. The suspects then drove away.

CHONBURI – August 24, 2012 [PDN]: at 3:30 a.m., Pol. Maj. Gen. Narongsak Wongkalasin, suppression inspector, Sansuk police station, received a report of a shooting at a nightclub parking lot.

He rushed to the crime scene in front of the Galaxy night club, Bangsan inbound road, Sansuk, Muang, Chonburi.

The rescue team reported that a soldier had been shot and killed after an argument. He was identified as 3M Sgt. Dejnarong Tarktai, age 26, living at the house number 302/349, moo 9, Bansuan, Muang, Chounburi.

pdn31.jpgMr. Dejnarong, a 3MSGT soldier from infantry military 2, royal squad Muang, Chonburi, had come to the nightclub to get his extra pay as a staff member of the nightclub.

Police questioned a witness who witnessed the whole incident, Mr. Sompong Mata, age 36, a parking lot attendant and security guard.

Mr. Sompong told police that a group of five young people had been at the nightclub since its opening, drinking and singing songs until 1:30 a.m. They had paid their bill and were going to another nightclub nearby, the Act Code Pub.

At the time, they were very drunk, and while backing up their car, it hit the motorcycle of Mr. Dejnarong. While the security guard was talking to the owner of the car, Mr. Dejnarong discovered the fender bender.

The soldier became very angry and argued harshly with the group. One of men then came out of the car and shot Mr. Dejnarong seven times. Then he got back in the car and the group drove away.

Police later inspected footage from the nightclub’s CCTV, and saw the argument and the suspect fatally shooting the soldier. Police will investigate further to arrest the suspects and prosecute according to law.
