A TG asked me...........

I know a TG on facebook, not a g/f or anything like that, attractive lady whos not short of a baht or two, works in computers.

she asked me today if its possible to get a visa to the UK without having anyone to sponsor her?

I told her I didn`t think she could but I promised to find out for her.

It is possible for Thai's to come over on a tourist visa without meeting a farang although I aren't sure of the criteria. Guess she will need to prove that she can afford to fund her stay whilst in the country. Not sure what else.

 

I hope this doesn't come across the wrong way but I don't quite understand why she is asking you to find this out for her in all honesty as surely it is easier for her to read up on this on the net through the embassy websites. Also, I don't understand why you wouldn't also do this as it will be quicker and more informative then this thread in my opinion.

 

I'd suggest you send her the link below which is for the British Embassy in Bangkok (all this information is in Thai). For the English version take off the "th" and replace with "en".
