We are looking for a 4 door truck or SUV. Around 5 yo and approx 400,000. Private sale only please.

 

Pattaya dealer prices are ludicrous but the much cheaper places towards Rayong and Chonburi have a lot less choice.

 

For example a 3yo Honda CV in Pattaya - 650,000

Same car in Sattahip 480,000

 

2yo 4 door Toyota Truck in Pattaya 580,000

2yo 4 door Toyota truck in Sattahip 475,000

 

Sadly both of those are still a little too much for us but it shows the daft pricing here with the dealers.

 

We did find a great 3yo Ford Ranger in Pattaya for 450,000 but that was a private sale and had gone.

 

I am already scouring the classified so no need to suggest that.

A brand new 4 door 2wd Isuzu pickup can be had for 650,000. Put your 400,000 down, and finance the other 200,000 for 3 years. I will never buy a used vehicle in Thailand.

Have a look at the dealers North of Chonburi on the way to Ban Saeng, a lot more realistic and I bought my Toyota there saved 150,000 on the same model in Patts.
