Three Thai youths Injured in Shooting.

 

 

Three young Thai men, aged 17, 18 and 20, were taken to Banglamung hospital on Thursday night after being shot in the legs in an incident which took place in the Kao Mai Gao sub-district.

The three claimed they were all riding on the one motorbike when they passed a large group of Thai men drinking at the side of the road. For some unknown reason, the drinkers decided they didn’t like the look of three youths on a motorbike and followed them on their own machines. When they considered they were close enough a volley of shots were fired at the three victims. Although all three were wounded, they were probably fortunate the shooter or shooters were not skilled marksmen, or just very drunk, otherwise this incident could have easily resulted in fatalities.

Banglamung police are currently investigating this incident.
