AYUTTHAYA, Aug 21 –  Thailand's central province of Ayutthaya will celebrate the 327th anniversary of Thai-French relations Aug 24-26 at the former capital’s old provincial hall.

Ayutthaya Governor Witthaya Pewpong and representatives of the French embassy in Thailand briefed a news conference about celebrations that the event is aimed to celebrate the long relations between the two countries and promote tourism to Ayutthaya, which encompasses many historical sites.

At the event, artificial snow will be made to create the atmosphere of Paris, the French capital. Models of French landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and the Arc De Triomphe are being built so that festival goers may take memorable souvenir photos.

International shows and booths selling French food and products will be available at the event. (MCOT online news)
