Downloading photographs help needed ?

I have recently been using "Photo bucket" to post my pictures of party's and trip reports as this automatically resizes your pictures ETC, but i am finding major problems with the site lately, especially with the speed of uploading from my pictures file ?

Does or what do other people use so i can speed up the process of downloading 50+ party pictures ?

It would be far better if you resized the pics before uploading them to Photobucket. 800x600 seems a common forum default, and is the size I now upload at.

The Faststone resizer is an excellent tool for this as it also retains the camera's metadata. Set the jpeg compression to about 80%, the resize filter to bilinear, and it should produce some more realistic file sizes for upload.

I think you must mean "upload".
