New photo gallery - how to set up?

Can someone explain, in words of one syllable, how to set up a member's gallery (public)?

 

Every time I follow what I think is the process to do this, upload photo - new gallery - name the gallery - click private/public/friends whatever - click "OK", I get a window with...

 

"NO_PERMISSION_TO_CREATE_IN_ALBUM"

 

These mostly aren't the kind of photos I can stick on Flickr.

no idea, sorry, i wanted to do the same thing so i will keep an eye on this.

Have you tried changing the parent gallery to "Members Gallery"? I didn't want to create a new album but going through the steps, the default parent gallery may be something else, ie "xxx's test gallery". You may lack permissions to create a sub album in another's album.

 

Suggested steps:

 

Gallery/Upload/New Album/

 

Under Parent Album, click "Select Album"

 

Default will be "Members Gallery" in "Global Albums", click "Select Album"

 

Parent Album is now "Members Gallery". Enter Album Name, Album Description as a Public Album

 

Oops, I used words greater than one syllable. Oh well. Signed, multisyllabic
