is it a good idea to click on the internet options option every so often then delete temporary files, histroy, cookies etc?

This is ok to do temporary files, histroy, cookies etc it uses only space on your HD.

If u have explore 7 u can chose to keep login info so you dont nee to put in your passw and usernames again on the sites that u visit often

I tend to run Disc Cleanup on a fairly regular basis, which clears out cookies and history etc.

Just a note to the others who are not that techy like me, my laptop has been a bit sticky and slow the last few days, i ran the programe Blindboy posted and my laptop is like new now.
