Hi guys, wanted to use Nam's Taxi to go from Don Mueang Airport to Pattaya next month.

However, their website just mentions transport from Suvarnabhumi Airport [ BKK ] to pattaya and has no mention of the cost/availibility of their service from Don Mueang Airport to Pattaya. Anybody here has used Nam's Taxi from Don Mueang Airport to Pattaya ?

Iirc it's 1500 THB from Don Muang to Pattaya

To be sure, just ask them: [email protected]

Please keep in mind that everything I write is based on my own experiences, my personal preferences and my expectations. YMMV!

nams doesn't do transport from DMK anymore.

most other popular taxi services still do, and yes, normally 1500 (one apparently 1300). just search for DMK , it was discussed just a week ago.

Ok, thanks a lot. Followed your suggestion and searched for DMK. Found the recommendations regarding cherry taxi and chose the same and got my taxi booked. Thanks :D

Does anyone know if the 389 Suvarnabhumi to Pattaya has restarted dropping off at top of Pattaya Klang along Sukhumvit?  Had heard these buses were only dropping off near N Pattaya Rd and then going straight to Jomtien bus station.

Just curious, I remember reading somewhere that there are services where you can get a girl in the limo/car with you on the way to Pattaya. Not looking to use it but just curious if that still exists?

A shout out to PT Taxi, the only one was able to help me yesterday for a taxi from Pattaya to Bangkok ! Had a change of heart in the morning and decided to bolt for Bangkok earlier than planned. So I emailed, lined and phoned in the morning to around 10 places for a taxi later that afternoon and only PT Taxi was able to get me one at 17:00, all others either not answered or "sorry we are full no more driver today !". So there you go, in case of urgent need, try PT Taxi.

Yes, search for Nam's Taxi Service or Meow.

Might be some cross communications here. Nam and Meow you get a girl (more accurately woman) in the car. She is the driver, and that's the limit of the services they provide.

This was done by Devil's Den, which had a Devil's Den bus which included the services of two escorts for the trip. Unfortunately the owner of Devil's Den has had health problems, which led to the closure of the club as well as the end of the bus service.

Looking at transportation service (airport bus) from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) to Pattaya Jomtien Bus Station.

Looks like the buses run every hour.

Then take a taxi from the Jomtien bus station to my hotel.

Looking for reliable, inexpensive transportation from airport to Patt.

Is this transport recommended or am I making a mistake?

I used Mike Pattaya Taxi (https://liff.line.me/1645278921-kWRPP32q/?accountId=290wdjka) which I found after about 2 minutes of Googling.

1000b each way from BKK to Edge Central. The airport pickup was a little rough, but my flight was late so no hard feelings. The 4am pickup back to the airport was on time and the comms were good.

Both trips in a Toyota Camry, each a few years old but otherwise clean and good condition.

How much for a taxi bkk to patts? I can't use the likes of nams due to being unsure when I'll arrive (I'm returning a hire car after 5 hour drive).

I think I saw in a YouTube video about purchasing a voucher from a machine for the taxi ride, is that correct? If so how much?

Why don't you get a Bolt from your rental car returned place ? It will cost you less than a taxi and no need to negotiate too.

Does anyone know about how much a bolt or grab would cost to go from BKK to central Pattaya? I will arrive in September.

You will have some change from 500 bahts inc the fee for the fast road.

In what world? A bolt to Swampy (which I assume we're talking about here) is like 1200. And I'm sure tolls (100 + something) would be on top.

Would highly recommend booking with Nam instead. Cheaper and almost certainly better.

Book a Meow Car, 1100 plus 200 tip if you are a good guy.

Pre book and head to arrivals exit 4 straight after customs.   Find the person with your name on a board.   They will call your taxi and take a photo.   2 min later you will meet your driver and walk out the exit to you car.   Air con and comfortable.   They know exactly where you are going.   90 min later you will be in your Pattaya hotel foyer.

I cannot believe anyone can travel 14 hours and not think this is a good idea.

Apologies. Somehow I misread it as wanting cost estimate from BKK/Suvarnabhumi to central Bangkok. Whereas I should have read as between BKK/Suvarnabhumi and Pattaya.

My most recent fares with Nam have been 1200 bahts BKK/Suvarnabhumi-to/from Pattaya in a Toyota Camry plus tip, usually 200 bahts.
