Leeds fans - what do you think of Wisey now?

Hi Leeds fans,

Just curious to know if you're still unhappy having a Chelsea old boy in charge now that Leeds have won 7 on the trot?

I'm guessing that you'll never be overly-happy with him in charge, but thought you might have warmed to him slightly after the great start you've had to the season. I mean he faced an uphill struggle trying to keep you up last season and failed (albeit I feel he had a less than 50% chance of saving you).

Secondly, after such a blistering start are you confident of going up?

If they get into the conference they'll achieve a bigger goal difference as well. :P

It's all part of a Chelsea old boys plot, raise their expectations until Christmas and then watch them tumble down the table to finish the season in relegation worries, Wisey is certainly in on the plot, you can read more about this conspiracy theory on the web at www.dirtyleeds4theconference.com :P

Wise has done a good job, but they won't keep on winning forever.

Lets hope they don't. I think where they are now is where they belong.

Obviously, nobody wins every single game. :Good_One:

A player's ability on the field is not necessarily a sign of how good he will be as a Manager...Bobby and Jackie Charlton are good examples of both extremes...Also there is usually a settling in period ( except Keano!)... Wise has done OK...He jumped in a sinking ship and kept it afloat..

We will get promoted..it might mean doing it via the play offs although I hope we can do it as Champions....As for the biggest leap of all from Championship to Premiership...who knows..

I agree on all points. However, nobody said anything about a players ability being related to a manager's ability. There's been scores of top players who have been shit managers and vice versa. You only have to look at Mourhino and Bryan Robson for two extreme examples in my book

It does show how fickle a game our football is. Leeds have now a better average gate this season than any team in the 3 championship divisions (Sheff Utd 2nd) and this after Wise, Poyet and Bates were given Dogs abuse. While they are winning everything will be fine, its but when things get sticky will be the telling point and like its been said they wont win for ever.

By the way Leeds are now 3/1 favourites with Ladbrokes to WIN the league!!!!!

Leeds fans never had a gripe with "Wisey" it was and still is "Bates" what fucked up the club, long may "Leeds Utd" shove it up the FA's arse for the 15 points deduction they gave us !! It was the best thing what happened to LUFC, 29,768 crowd against "Swansea" at home ?

Chelsea v Rossenbourg 25,879 attendance ?

Greatest team in football the world has ever seen !!
