The Cabinet did not deliberate Nasa's request to use U-Tapao airbase for studying clouds Tuesday as earlier expected, Government Spokesperson Sansanee Nakpong said.

My only experience with U Tapao was to fly out on a Thai Air flight in late November 2008 when the protesters had the airport closed. I sure wish they would have monger flights in and out of that place. I would be a frequent user. I know 75 minutes is not long from the current airport but I like to be as close as possible :)
