newer hotels around 1,000thb?

Looking for something new and clean like Destiny or China Garden in price and amenities.....any suggestions?? both of the above are booked.

Need-- good intenet/large screen tv/quiet/guest friendly/clean and new.......

want-- jacuzzi/large room/balcony and close to the action, but far enough away to avoid noise and insanity.

any recommendations appreciated.

Mate there is a thread on the current hotels page" PBR or Mecure"...really good advice on there 1040bht per night inc tax for Mercure (much reduced!). Its near the Avenue/second road and not too far from the LK area, yet chilled. You need to join the hotel group club (takes 5min) to get this price...oh no jacuzzi!!!
