C & N hotel just opposite Bangla Road (the main strip) nice rooms with safe 700 Baht a day, no swimming pool but the beach is right there.

Stayed at the Tara Patong last year.

Lovely rooms, two great pools, across from the beach with a fantastic breakfast but most things were a little pricy.

Around 2,000 a night

allright here a couple of suggestions:

C&N

Andaman sea guesthouse

Expat hotel

Jintana hotel

K&N guesthouse

Many more around and these are just some suggestions. PM me for further info if you like.

Depending on whether you'll be there early Feb (crowded) or late Feb (less crowded) it might

be smart to book in advance :P

Best advice as ever is just to turn up and never pay for more than 2 - 3 nights so you can move when you find what you are after

February might not be a good time to do that ... the town is pretty full until after Easter / Songkhran.

jazzza7, you might want to try Summer Breeze too, a lot of the BMs on the phuket-info board seem to recommend it.

do you get the 700 by walking in rather than advance booking? I have put an email request in to them and the price is 1300 for Nov 10
