hello Guys

I think pizza its one of the most famous italian dish in the world, but not easy for an italian to eat this kind of food, expecially in Asia.

If you want try to eat a real italian taste pizza, I would like suggest you to try Pizza Big located in the beginnig of the Naklua ... around 500 Meters after the Dolphin status on the right side.

Pizza its very big but overall it's a real italian style pizza, the price is a little bit high for Pattaya standard, 350thb for a "Prosciutto Crudo" raw ham pizza. but Heineken beer it's a little bit expensive, 90Thb for a 33cl bottle.

For me the best pizza you can get is the one at Dao's Cafe on the dark side.

Pizza Calzone with ham, mushroom, egg, salami, blue cheese and cream for 190 Baht.

Here a pic of the take away:

There's a cracking little pizza shop on Soi Diana just up from Areca Lodge on the left hand side and cheap too. The little honey who serves you is also a little cutie.

My mate recommended the Pizza's from a place opposite the Ice Inn which is PattayaSoiLand 12. I think it was 200 Baht for a huge pizza, he thought it tasted great.

The problem with the pizza slice place in soi Diana is that the pizza slices are usually cooked and then left to cool down. When you choose a slice, they usually have to warm it up for you in the oven. But I think this makes the crust hard and not as tasty as it was originally. Nevertheless, I still sometimes eat there and it is ok for a quick bite. Further down the street, or rather in Soi Lenke there is an excellent pizza place just after the junction with Soi Bukhao. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the place but is almost just after the 7-11. The pizzas there are oven baked and served on a wooden plate. Best pizza I've tasted in Pattaya. The seafood pizza with anchovies I had there was about 200 Baht, and simply delicious.

Hopf Brewhouse, corner of Soi Yamato and Beach Road, has good Italian pizza cooked in original wood burning oven. The manager is Italian from Napoli. The espresso is good as well.

when it first opened the pizzas were made on site. the place has since been extended to provide more seating. Alas the pizzas are now made elsewhere and biked in and then re-heated when ordered.

Hello Jasonthai

Excuse me sir but you are in error, you are mistaking place.

The photo I have enclosed it's about "Pizza Big" Restaurant ... the place where the gas bottles exploded and injuired two of the staff it was "Mareblu" Pizza Restaurant, another restaurant located on the Naklua Road.

You can see the news at this Pattaya city link:

The new Pizza Co. at the Avenue Pattaya shopping complex on 2nd Road at Soi 13 serves very good brick-oven pizza (approx. 250 baht). They also have one of the best lemonades I have tasted (50 baht).

Yes, it's just south of McDonalds on 2nd Road, and is beneath the new Shennanigan's. I love neopolitan (thin-crust) pizza, and this is the closest thing in Pattaya to authentic neopolitan. BTW - just get used to the ketchup on pizza in LOS, because almost all the Thais put ketchup on their pizza. I knew a girl who always put russian dressing on her pizza. My TG has the same reaction to our impression of pizza with ketchup, when I pull out the spicy brown mustard to eat with sausages. These go-togethers are an automatic eating reflex.

Have to agree with the OP. Pizza Big does have great pizza. I usually take a baht bus there, and then walk back to Soi 6 after eating so I'm nice and digested before dessert!

I went to the pizza place on Soi Lenkee (Soi 25) and the pizza was very good for being here in Thailand. It was also only 200 Baht for each of the pizzas which isn't too bad.

It's takeaway but for me a really great pizza is from Scobys on 3rd road next to the Buffalo Bar (opposite Soi Lengkee).

Also I tried PanPan NO WAY as good although full on Itlain joint etc.

Try Scobys.
