Four vehicles were involved in a fatal road accident on the Sukhumvit Road in Banglamung on Sunday afternoon. A 59 year old motorbike driver, Khun Suree, was killed and her 3 year old granddaughter was injured and rushed to Hospital. Police determined a Black Toyota Vios, driven by Khun Gae aged 30 was the vehicle which rear-ended the motorbike that was crossing the four lanes of the Sukhumvit Road into the u-turn slip lane. The two other larger vehicles involved in the accident are believed to have come into contact with the Vios which then stopped suddenly in the fast lane. Police arrested Khun Gae and detained the other drivers and took them to the Police Station for further investigation while the family of Khun Gae are coming to terms with their loss.
