80,000 Baht in cash and 10 Buddhist Amulets were stolen from the back seat of a car left in a Temple Car Park in Jomtien on Friday Night. Police were called to the Boonganjanaram Temple in Jomtien and met with the owner of the Black Mercedes Benz, Khun Prasit aged 57, the owner of a Minimart in Soi Chayapreuk. He directed Police to the rear passenger window on the drivers side where the glass had been smashed and a bag containing the cash and amulets had been taken from. Khun Prasit had parked his car at the Temple as he was attending a Funeral Service there for a close friend. The car was dusted for fingerprints and impressions were taken from the rear passenger door and seat which are currently being analysed but for now there have been no arrests and the stolen items have not been recovered.
