New Top Notch Medical Clinic

I wanted to inform all of the BM's about a new medical clinic in Pattaya. Dr. Wichian, one of the top surgeons at Pattaya Memorial Hospital, has opened his own clinic on South Pattaya Road, across the street from, and about 200 meters west of Big C. The clinic is staffed by his wife, who is his nurse at the hospital, and the hospital's admissions director. The office is immaculate and friendly. The usual office hours are 6-8pm, following everyone's shifts at the hospital. Dr. Wichian, and his staff, speak excellent English, and do thorough work ups. Yes, if you need tests, or major surgery, you're going to be sent to Pattaya Memorial Hospital. However, for those non-emergency needs, especially sports injuries and ongoing medical conditions (i.e., hypertension, diabetes, migraines, etc.) this can be a great medical resource. I believe the standard rate for a consultation is about 400 baht. In my visit, on behalf of my TG, she received a 20 minute physical exam, followed by a 45 minute consultation with Dr. Wichian. I was given a discount, because the person who took me over to the clinic, is the English teacher for Dr. Wichian's family.
