What is the best moderate rate hotel in Pattaya?

I want to enjoy and planning a trip to Pattaya, i want to know what is the best moderate rate, good, easy access hotel in Pattaya to stay?

you can find clean cheap rooms for 600-800 a night

and luxury rooms or aparthotel room 1200-1600

I could do with a few suggestions as well, around the 800 to 1200 baht mark.

 

Been looking and a lot of the ones i fancied seem to be booked up for mid November, i normally stay on LK Metro but fancy a change, some where with a pool but not miles from LK but far enough so i will discover new bars on my travels.

 

Accommodation around 2nd road, soi bukhao between Pattaya klang and Pattaya tai would be good, if any one has any recommendations, i have been looking at reviews on line but there is just too many, so first hand info would be a nice help.

I would say Areca Lodge on Soi Diana @ 1200 a night

Can you still get Areca for 1200/night in November? I think prices have jumped up there. But Areca Lodge and Nature View are good mid-range options around the Soi Diana area if a pool is important. Pattaya Bay Resort is around the corner for just a bit more.

Shagwell Mansions aka Wombat is great value with pool/ bar and disco. It's up Pattaya Klang from beach rd turn right at Big C and down a few hundred meters on the left. I have stayed there on 4 different occasions and love it.

The Pattaya Bay Resort is probably your best bet, the have rooms from 999b and it is a great little hotel.

check out nova platium good hotel close to walking street and you can bring women in the rooms. it is decent price

The Queen Victoria Inn in Soi 6. Clean rooms, fresh laundry and towels, room safe for valuables, multi channel flatscreen TV, room phone.very friendly staff, (not that way), Allowed to bring girls back so long as they give ID to security.
