66 year old woman killed during Pattaya thunderstorms

A 66 year old woman was killed as a result of the thunderstorms experienced around Pattaya late on Tuesday Night. Police and Rescue Services were called to Soi 12 off the Naklua Road to investigate reports that a tree had fallen onto a small house. The body of Khun Wirai was recovered from the scene and her husband, Khun Sowai aged 63 was rushed to Hospital suffering from broken legs and other more minor injuries. Weather Reports suggest the bad weather will continue for the next few days and officials are urging everyone to exercise caution. Banglmaung District Hall and Pattaya City Hall have promised to assist Khun Sowai in coming to terms with his tragic loss and to assist him in rebuilding his house.
