.kdh files - how to open? Free software download

Help!

I need to open a .kdh file quite urgently - a downloaded document from a (very trustworthy) Chinese site. The download link on the site itself won't open; the most cited reader software download identifiable via Google does download, but has some files missing/corrupt so won't unzip. Adobe and similar stuff also won't open the file.

 

Any ideas (beyond getting Chinese pal to download the article (he has the software already loaded), convert it or print and pdf it) etc.

Does your adobe reader have the Chinese font pack installed?

Yup - my Adobe has Chinese fonts installed, but won't open the pesky kdh file, even when I ask it nicely.

 

Found the CAJ software originator's site via that link you gave, but can't get a connection to download from it.

 

Time for a cuppa and try again later, with a hammer in hand.

* Computer freezes or Explorer packs up whenever tasked to read the document (either by clicking on the doc's icon or opening the reader and clicking on 'open file').

 

As a result, I've given up and removed the softare and file - I'll get Chinese pal to xerox the doc tomorrow and send it by UPS.

 

Many thanks for your help - would a framed picture of Big Reg in his frogman suit (unzipped) be suitable recompense for your help or perhaps something a little less vulgar when we meet?
