Decent hotel on WS for first night late arrival

Recommended Posts

It's that time again.

As usual I will land in BKK at 11pm the night before I can check into my condo the next day.

I'm looking for good hotel on Walking Street for just one night.

Last trip I tried galaxy suites, but I found it too noisy and not very comfortable.

From my various strolls down Walking Street, there is a big hotel just before mixx disco. Looms nice. Anybody know of some decent options in the 1500 baht range?

Cheers!

Or maybe I should just take the taxi straight to Sapphire Lodge for my first evening.

Wonder if they'll be hanging out that late?

P72, halfway down, left hand side.

A bit cheaper than Bt1500. Around Bt900.

24 hr room service, good, basic rooms but must get a room near the back, away from the street.

Jasmine hotel in Soi BJ should be fine for a night, shouldn't be any major noise problems from what I hear and less then 1000 baht for a standard room as well.

Yes, have stayed there lots but not for some time.

Good option, I like the ceiling mounted fans for strenuous workouts. Both hotels a stone's throw from each other and Girl friendly (as if I had to say that).

Secrets is an option as well. Check into your room, go downstairs for a drink and get a girl or to keep you company for the night.

I second Jasmine. It will do just fine for one night. Quiet with really nice staff.

Alright fellas!

Looks like I'm going for the jasmine hotel. Looks nice and clean.

Since its just one night, I guess I'll just get the standard room. Looks pretty small though.

Also, their website could really use an upgrade.

I'll report on my experience when I'm in the bush.

Cheers!

Thank LRanger,

That is the place I was thinking of. I always liked the look of it. Have you stayed there?

I just booked jasmine, but I'll have a look at windy inn.

It just one night / morning. Just need a place to throw my stuff, shower and head out to a club to pick up some take away.

I have never pulled in Mixx, but the ladies there seem more slutty than ibar or insomnia.
