Fast Track Has anyone used this company

Do you really need fast track?

Took me all of 10 minutes to get through BKK immigration at 3pm on a Monday when arriving. Then waited another 15 minutes for baggage to arrive.

On leaving yesterday it took about 5 minutes at 8am to get through Immigration departures.

If it flies, floats or fucks - it will be cheaper to rent !

It is the only way to go. I went to Bangkok without it for my first trip. It took two hours to get through immigration. I have been using a fast track service since.

Is there an equivalent service for Heathrow/Gatwick/Manchester in the UK?

(Not joking).

I get it for free with Cathay Pacific Business or First Class but the service in immigration is worth it arriving and departing.

I have not used this one but did you check asiadirect? I have used both from them. Very reliable and set up through email. If you search there is a thread about BFS.

Hi guys for some reason my search feature isnt cooperating, so sorry if this has been asked before but has anyone used there fast track service or can recomend another one the link is https://www.bfsasia.com/index.html thanks in advance. SB

I used them last night and have used them on one occasion earlier. No problems, everything went exactly as it should. Through Immigration and Customs as fast as is humanly possible.

Here's a general update about the immigration lines at Swampy:

It took me 15 minutes to get through Immigration Control at 3.30 a.m. on April 24. It could have taken longer, but I got lucky. The single feeder queue was in place, but only two officers were on duty. About 25 people were ahead of me, so I figured I'd have to wait at least 30 minutes to get through. It took me 15 minutes to get to the point the queue minder was assigning people to the short queues in front of each of the two officers.

A Russian family - parents, three children and grandma - were ahead of me, but none of them had their departure cards filled out. The officer brushed them aside in an annoyed tone of voice and I nimbly moved up to present my passport to him. He cleared me in about 30 seconds. The Russian family hadn't even figured out what was happening by the time I was through.

During that 15 minutes I waited, the size of the queue behind me increased dramatically, possibly because the 6.00 a.m. United flight to Narita was fully booked. So if I'd entered the queue 15 minutes later than I did, I would have waited much longer in the snake unless new control booths had been opened.

Ironically, United passed out fast track coupons to biz class passengers, but the fast track lane wasn't open. "Not working," the young man at the entrance said. But he grabbed my voucher anyway and directed me to the ordinary control area.

Last night I got another Fast Track voucher from United for re-entry into Thailand (everyone in biz did), but I didn't use it as I had already booked BFS Fast Track service. That wasn't so much because I feared long lines at 11.00 p.m., but because I had three very big and heavy bags that wouldn't fit on one trolley. Customs also tends not to be curious about luggage when you have a Fast Track escort. It was definitely worth 700 baht.

The lines were short at the regular immigration counters. However, on the way to the control point I did see three separate groups of Asian travelers gathering up behind the tour guides' flags. If they hit Immigration Control all at the same time, the wait would have been considerable for anyone behind them.

The single feeder queue is a definite improvement as the Russians don't have any opportunity now to jump the line. One tried on April 24, but he was ordered back by a queue minder.

Have posted about them before in this forum - 100% happy with their service on my last three trips, and the cheapest offering I've seen, by about 1000THB I'm usually in biz, but not all carriers give out the coupons. The Cart ride is well worth the $$ - you can land a long long walk to immigration and this saves 15 minutes hike, and beats other people on the same flight with fast-track coupons. My last flight landed almost next to immigration, but the cart ride for 1 minute was fun! Hand baggage only and I was in my car to BKK 10 minutes after the aircraft door opened!

I've not booked on the way back as most airlines give you fast track for the return if you're in biz. Last time I used the voucher Swiss gave me on the way out on the return leg - it just says fast track on the voucher.

The website is a right PITA to navigate..... this link should take you to the page with all the information and the booking link.

IIRC you fill in a form, print it off, add some details and CC Numbers and scan and mail it back.

Thanks for that - Thai pal (rich) is travelling soon. I note that Diaomond offer 'escort' through immigration, but not - explicitly at least - a fast track to beat Mrs May's queues. Watch this space.

I used BFS on my last trip in March, I was very happy with the service ( and the little cutie who met me from the Plane)

I did wonder what time I had gained as I was the first person to arrive at the bagage carosal. I had a long wait for the baggage to appear, when it did appear other passangers were arriving also.

I think the service is best if travelling with just hand luggage as it would guarantee you a quick exit from the airport/

I'm in two minds whether to use the service for my next trip as I understand things have improved a little at Swampy. I guess I can save myself 700 THB, I'll have to think what I could spend that on :Drunk:

I have used this service and it runs smoothly every time and the cute little girl that meets you gets your immagination up and started before you even leave the airport ((cute little tennis skirt worn by host). For 700baht I find it is cheap easy option because if you happen to arrive at immagration and there are long lines your stuck and you have a shitty start to your trip.

If you mean the U.S. "trusted traveler" Global Entry program, no, you can't. It only works at the kiosks at some U.S. airports. It doesn't have any connection to Fast Track services at BKK airport.

Guys, I resepct your wishes to hurry but what for? I have never had my bags beat me before I got through the immigration line and have always had to wait there for my bags to emerge. Where is the value in paying to get through immigration faster so I can stand at baggage return for an even longer time waiting for them to arrive? This always seemed like a waste of money to me and I wouldn't even considerate it unless I only had a carry on bag because if you have checked baggage this service accomplishes nothing

Guys, I resepct your wishes to hurry but what for?

It depends on your circumstances. Because of my FF status, I get a priority tag on my luggage, so it's among the first down the chute. My bags are nearly always on the carousel by the time I get through the Fast Track lane. Even if I wait, it's only a few minutes. But more than total time saved, I avoid standing in line at Immigration Control. If I had to choose, I'd rather sit beside the carousel reading a book while I wait for my bags than stand 25 minutes or more in line to show my passport.

To be sure, at some times of the day/night, there's no real queue at IC, but other times it can be a very long wait. Things have gotten better since they started with the single feeder queue (Russians can't jump the line anymore), but I see Fast Track service as insurance against the occasions when the queues are still daunting.

Just booked today for next week - they've upgraded the site and now take payments online, so no fax or scanback of documents.

Beware though - the bank they use offers Dynamic Currency Conversion - my advice is to ignore this and pay in BHT. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamic_currency_conversion
