There is some company Easy Visa. You can try. I had not personal experience, but I saw advertising everywhere and everytime.

I have heard positive and negative reports on them so it might be worth doing your research first if you decide to go down that path .

Also try Key Visa on LK metro.

Research the Government of Canada website and learn what their prerequisites are for Thai visa applicants. Initiate contact with them after you have your ducks in a row.

One thing to keep in mind is... ensure you have a lot of evidence.. Emails between each other.. SMS records off your phone bill.. Skype conversations and most embassy's love photos of you two together..especially with you & her family.

Embassy's just want to ensure you have a genuine relationship, they don't look fondly on wanting to being your gf to your home country after meeting her on your two week holiday :)

Pretty simple of the relationship is genuine.

It is for me. Any other advice from BM's that have been successful?

There is nearly no chance of a Thai girl that is not a landowner, employed in a name brand firm, with money in the bank and a history of having it, getting a visa of any kind.

Don't pay a visa firm to find this out.

The more you try to prove that she is a close girlfriend the more they will think she is going to stay , you're going to get married in Canad, and you are going to apply for a family class immigration within the country. Lowering the odds from no chance to no chance - 1.

Canada unlike other countries gives little shrift to guarantees or letters of invitation other than by a charity or a church etc. And not to bar girls.

You may have to go back and marry her - often it's the only way - unless you would rather marry in Canada.

Most Thai G/F will not get a tourist visa.

With due respect, it's not right to suggest "Don't pay a visa firm to find this out.".

We assisted a Thai lady who successfully obtained a tourist visa to Canada. She doesn't own any land, but she has a daughter with a Canadian boyfriend and a good job. She has never been to any Western Country at the time of that application. She has not got much money in her bank account.

We have a recent case where the Thai lady applied unsuccessfully in her 1st tourist visa application because her boyfriend didn't know how to get it done properly. In her 2nd application, we advised her how to prepare for her visa application and she subsequently provided us with evidence of her 50% land ownership of the family house; her business registration and proof of her savings of over 200,000 Thai Baht. All these evidences are not available at her first visa application. Unfortunately, the Canadian Embassy still refused her 2nd application. Our client is very understable as she knows we have done our best for her. The reality is that it's very difficult to get a tourist visa to Canada. It's more or less the same for USA.

We strongly believe that the first visa application is extremely important because once it's disapproved, it will make future applications more difficult.

We are not saying that your GF will be guaranteed to have a tourist visa to Canada if it's done by visa consultant. But if someone doesn't know how to get this done, a visa consultant should normally be able to increase the chance of success.

Canada is one of the hardest countries to get into. They turned my wife down 3 times for a tourist visa,so we hired an immigration Lawyer in Canada and proceeded with Landed Immigrant Application. She has been here for 8 years now,and we go back every year.

I did have a friend bring his Thai GF back with him in 2002,but she owned land, and had a great job in Thailand, that she was returning to.If you do go to the Embassy, you will not be dealing with Canadians. You will be dealing with Thai's,hired by The Canadian Gov.

Also, take a look at the "comments" book at The Embassy. It is riddled with unhappy people denied entry to Canada.

In retrospect, our dealings with the Australian Embassy was wonderfull. We went there on holidays, and we're welcomed with open arms.

The Cdn Embassy is a horrible place.

As a previous post said, they are interested why your partner would return? assets etc, land, house,

The relationship is also important showing an ongoing relationship, e-mails, telephone bills, photographs etc,

But one of the main thing is a permanent proper job with a good firm and regular salaries paid into there bank that can be seen.

Canada has gone a little more difficult now but still not like the USA.
