SIM recommendation

Hi guys. I'm looking into buying a sim card when over there. On my last trip I bought at 7/11 a Happy DTC card and though phone is set up smoothy, was unable to set the data transfer. Is there any card you need to buy apart? Or can anyone advice? Thanks so much. lei---

In the past i had problems with my phone and call plan when i purchased from 7/11. when you get off the plane go to one of the phone company counters in the arrivals hall , i use AIS , they set up my phone correctly and i topped up my credit and set the plan for me .

Try AIS one 2 call... just ask them for the list of code to enter for data plan and once you have enough credit in it for the kind of usage you want, just punch in the the code and you are good to go.

I just got a "Happy Internet SIM" and it does not seem to have valid "data service" package. I tried using the *3000# code and it says I am already subscribed to the 3G. I have a myTouch 4G Slide SmartPhone. Anyone got any idea?

For the We have tried the others and find if you have a H+ phone then true is the best to use for data and voice at least for the BKK and Pattaya aeras. ;-)

I did try the AIS this time and they set it all up in the airport. All smooth and nice 3G speeds so thanks again for the tip!

 

Btw:. In happy they told me they had only GPRS not 3G. Don't know if they've run out of sims or something or just don't have it.

Buy any sim from Truemove H, 12call or Happy, activate, put credit on in and then sign up for a data package using simple keypress codes. 3G Plans covered here. Stay way from True Move as they only offer edge now.
