Tequila Reef Pattaya has been around since April of 2000 and it's original founder and owner my father passed away April 20, 2017 after succumbing to a six-month bout with liver cancer. I have taken over full ownership of the Reef in Pattaya and have personally undergone some much needed dramatic changes to our core menu items. I could not have done this without the help of a 30-year Texan friend of mine who ironically owned his own Mexican restaurant in Chiang Mai known as the Mexican Grill. I have eaten at Sam's several times. It's a nice place with good food. I go there when I feel the need for standard American comfort food or some Mexican food. Not the cheapest place around, but IMHO serves good quality food. The owner, Sam, is a hands-on type owner. Which, I am learning, makes all the difference for quality food in restaurants here in Pattaya/Jomtien. Nice guy and easy to talk to. He was a long-time resident of San Diego, CA. Tequila Reef located on Soi 7 just 60 meters off Beach Road will be having it's annual Super Bowl breakfast buffet on Monday morning February 6th. This year's game promises to be a classic as it's a rematch of the 2008 Super Bowl between the New York Giants and New England Patriots.
