MaGiK posted a topic in Forum Francophone / French Language Forum
Pepper & Salt on Soi Khao Talo
bar stool posted a topic in Restaurants, Cafe's, Take Aways & Nightlife Venues
I’ve twice been to Pepper & Salt near the end of Soi Khao Talo, which is at least once too often. Dutch-owned place, snobbish, overpriced for what you get on your plate, way too expensive for Pattaya and even more so for the Dark Side. Some Dutch and Indonesian snacks, such as “broodje gezond”, “bami goreng” and “nasi goreng”. Bread has been replaced by “kroepoek”. They charge 40 baht for a very small plastic bottle of an unknown brand of Thai mineral water (not Minéré, Aura, Mont Fleur, iO or Aquaré). If you order their lentil soup, you might need a bicycle for ri-

Venues with amazing views - Pattaya area
stacksreg123 posted a topic in Restaurants, Cafe's, Take Aways & Nightlife Venues
Hi, I would love to hear from you about your favorite venues with great views. So far I've really enjoyed the happy hour at the Hilton horizon bar. Also really enjoyed the view on the sea at the Pattaya beer garden. Looking forward to your suggestions. -
Sam's Mexican & American Grill in Jomtien

I have eaten at Sam's several times. It's a nice place with good food. I go there when I feel the need for standard American comfort food or some Mexican food. Not the cheapest place around, but IMHO serves good quality food. The owner, Sam, is a hands-on type owner. Which, I am learning, makes all the difference for quality food in restaurants here in Pattaya/Jomtien. Nice guy and easy to talk to. He was a long-time resident of San Diego, CA. I am not an "expert" on Mexican food so I am not going to comment on the "authenticity" of any of the Mexican dishes. Each person has differ- 10 replies

Hi After 14 days vacation in Pattaya i would like to give my best recommendations to this Italian and Thai restaurant. http://www.copacabanapattaya.com/ Our little group used this restaurant regularly during our vacation. We tried everything from Thai soups to traditional Italian foods. And all the food was extraordinary wellcooked and although the service could be a little sharper this restaurant was one of our best food experiences during our holiday. The atmosphere was cousy and we felt very velcome at all times. I know where I will go to dinner the next time I visit Pattaya.

Eagle House Restaurant in Jomtien
Baloo22 posted a topic in Restaurants, Cafe's, Take Aways & Nightlife Venues
I was exploring some of the soi's off of Jomtien Beach Road and, just by random choice, stopped in this restaurant for a meal. Been back 6 or 7 times. IMHO, they serve some excellent Thai food there. The average price seems to be about 120 baht for some of the dishes shown below. Maybe a bit more than other places but I have found the portions larger than usual and "aroi mak mak". I recommend a try to see if you like it also! Eagle House Restaurant is located on Soi 4 off of Jomtien Beach Road. It's on the south side of Soi 4. I believe the location used to be a noodle shop "Yank
