  1. I went to sin club on towel Tuesday and they were easy to get rid off and some were walking around without the towels. Forgot to bring this up as it isn't a USP for me particularly but I know a lot of you cheeky lot love it. I went at 11 pm though and all there girls very loose and forthcoming. So I don't know why some have had different experiences. This was march 31st for me.
  2. I had excellent times in sin club and red house as mentioned in my trip reports. In red house most of the girls were nice. Not the hottest but not the oldest either. Good balance in between. Drinks 160b for the lady. Curtain 350. Lady took 800. Amazing timed. 1560 total spending. The satisfaction priceless. Did everything I asked and more
  3. Mate you're about to enter the pearly gates of heaven
  4. Coming from a country where such things take multiple weeks and months it is beautiful and sad to watch at the same time
  5. I was in da nang in January a few years ago and it was a miserable five days. Mix of cold and rain. I expected it to be cool but the rains almost ruined my entire short vacation. Had a much better time in Nha Trang in Feb last year. Was moderately hot. Cool in the evenings. I found it a little less commercialized and more friendly than Da Nang. But both my experiences were short
  6. I am staying near this place and I think I have tried their other branches (I think). Popular locally and seems like my go to place next. The biggest thing I will miss from my last trip and staying at the amber is the excellent Vietnamese weasel coffee right outside the hotel
  7. No major gaps in operating hours.
  8. Asean nations have a visa free travel arrangement I think so no visa for Vietnam. Thais also get visa free entry to Japan. Much stronger passport than mine 💯
  9. The issue as always with diessecting behaviour, needs, wants and strategies of the TGs is that like all humans they each have their own quirks, preferences and ways of working. I find all questions and answers surrounding why [insert gender/age group/nationality] behave like [insert whatever trait you find unappealing based on your small sample size] a futile endeavour. Humans and human behaviour goes beyond putting things in a box across large population groups. Certain stuff of course can be pointed to local or regional traits but I find more often than not people are much more comfortable attributing negative behaviour to entire nations and genders only to a few groups and not to the rest. When something negative happens with other groups it goes down to individual error instead. This is of course passed down through the beginning of time and promulgated by media and pop culture either consciously or sub consciously and everyone including me is guilty of it.
  10. Reminds me of the songkran days when I used to check which lanes are good to go. Good tool
  11. Chang Beer Limits Price Hike to 50 Satang per Bottle Chang Beer will raise its bottle price by 50 satang, or about 5 baht per crate, instead of the originally planned 2 baht per bottle, following slower-than-expected consumer stockpiling, according to news reports. The initial increase had been set at 24 baht per crate due to rising transportation costs, the company told wholesalers. Other beer brands still maintain their current prices. https://x.com/i/status/2037483444293534161
  12. It has excellent reviews and I think same ownership/management as the brilliant copperspoons. Unfortunately it's a bit small and everytime I tried to pop in it either looked full or was told of a long waiting time 😞
  13. NETA EV dealer in Thailand slashes prices by 50%, sells at massive loss. An EV dealer in Thailand says it is taking losses of over 500 million baht after being pressured to take on more than 1,000 NETA cars worth 700+ million baht. The dealer claims the parent company later cut market prices, leaving all stock immediately in the red, while also failing to reimburse after-sales costs worth tens of millions. On March 26, a Facebook user, Jetsadin Thawansakvudhi, who identified himself as part of a NETA dealership team, described the situation as a “case study” involving losses exceeding 500 million baht. Now, over 300 cars are being cleared at deep discounts — with a NETA V-II going for just 299,000 baht (down from 569,000), but no warranty included. Despite the losses, the dealer says the cars are still reliable and easy to repair, and rising fuel prices are driving renewed interest in EVs.
  14. As horrible as it looks thais and Asians love their random stuff in desserts. Usually I have seen such toppings for bowls of milky/creamy desserts and teas. First time seeing an ice cream. The pic here is so common in vietnam and I have tried the simple versions which are very delicious. But the toppings are hard to figure out unless you know the language or do research I guess. I think I have tried the steamed buns/baos also with bean taste. Didn't particulary like them
